THE GOD WITHIN
Swami Vivekananda says.. Every Soul is potentially Divine
Where is the Divinity you ask? How can you feel the
presence of that super power ….it happens in moments of
extreme joy or intense pain.
Scenario 1: This happens when you are all alone,
dejected and frustrated…lying on your bed… eyes closed … tears
flowing out from your eyes… each drop , taking its own
path…You shut your eyes tight, your fists clinched ,holding
the bed sheet…. you feel the pain, ..that helplessness… the
pain in the heart …the whole world revolving around you …you
sob ,cry ,shout and ask ….WHY ME ? WHERE ARE YOU ? At that
point of time, you feel somebody ….that spirit…you feel its
presence and you feel that there is somebody to take care of
you. Someone loves you and is watching you cry ….and is there
to wipe your tears out. The pain eases a bit ,tears still roll
down the cheek, taking different paths and continue to wet the
pillow ….but the pain is gone …that is where god is …. he is
there …TO EASE YOUR PAIN …
Scenario 2: Some times when you get such pleasure that
you close your eyes, the world revolving around you, there is
a smile on your face ….the Divine smile… then you feel the
presence of God and you raise your hands and say …this
happened because of YOU !!! I am nothing in front of you. Its
you, who is the creator, preserver and destroyer of the
universe. O Almighty, I do not know if I really deserve this,
but I am thankful to you for all your blessings and whatever
you have given me !!!
So will it be wrong to say GOD is with you, in you and nothing
but YOU …..
Swami Vivekananda further says.. The purpose of life is
to manifest that divinity.
Are we prepared to manifest our divinty ?
